Belle
Belle's Story |
Information provided by Sonnya Crawford: Belle came to us with a sketchy background. Her original family had given her up to a family friend, who then gave her to Rescue. She spent the first 2 years of her life in her backyard with little socialization or training. She quickly won our hearts. While we had her, she was spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and had bilateral entropion surgery. She was placed with a wonderful family in Montana. She was a much-anticipated addition to their family and is loved by all. We are very happy with Belle’s success story. Update from Belle's new family! Just wanted to let you know Belle is still doing well. This is the closest to a family picture we have been able to take since we got her. It seems everytime the camera comes out either, Belle or the girls bock. Thanks for all that you do in regards to taking care of BH. By the way... We had our first snow of the season today and the girls couldn't wait to take Belle outside and see how she liked it. She liked the snow. She's very cautious for some reason (with everything i.e., smells, new sights, new people) so she tip toed for a while, but it didn't take her long to "be wild" as the girls describe her. We do love Belle and couldn't ask for a nicer dog to have around our girls. Belle and Naula love harassing our barn cats and house cat. Belle loves to run with the girls and I. I push a double jogging stroller with Belle on the leash (the stroller is a good anchor) and Naula lazily truding behind. We also have a skunk that has made his presence known a time or two, too which entertains both the dogs. Well, Thanks for your reply and we will keep sharing pics and stories.
